Jon is a former Royal Marines Officer with operational experience in Northern Ireland, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Sierra Leone and Iraq. Following his military career, Jon worked in the corporate risk management industry in the Middle East, Africa and the U.S. with clients in the commercial, governmental and not-for-profit sectors. He now divides his time between the Mountain Way and his private work in the financial sector.

Neil is a Veteran Royal Marines’ Lieutenant Colonel and was selected as the only ever Royal Marines Director of the prestigious Royal Naval Division responsible for all naval officer intermediate leadership and management education. Neil was a Royal Marines University Cadetship Undergraduate, an ‘honor graduate’ from the US Marine Corps University and has a Masters (MSc) in Leadership (Cranfield). He is a Chartered Manager and Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute coupled with management/performance accreditations: PRINCE2, EFQM.
Neil has extensive global experience in command, leadership and management including international management and leadership development – UK, North America, Africa and Middle East. Neil is an authentic and principled executive-level operator with ample capacity and intellectual drive, who will assist organisations and individuals to achieve their ‘high performance’ goals and to excel. He has a proven talent in the execution of leadership and management best practice in high tempo, complex situations; coupled with an energetic, engaging and versatile approach.
David is a Chartered Accountant and an ardent Golfer (and one of a privileged few who have ever won a car for a hole in one!!!!!!) Previously David was a Partner with a medium tier regional former of Chartered Accountants, and after deciding to make some life changes, he set up a small financial services group providing accountancy services and finial advice. The group was sold in 2010 and enables him to enjoy an active social life whilst also providing advice to a variety of businesses as a non-executive Board advisor. David was also a founder of a medical rehabilitation company in 1998, which thrived and grew in to a multi-million pound business providing physical rehabilitation services to all the major insurers and which he sold 2014.
None of this has the slightest relevance to his degree in Chemistry from Nottingham University, although he maintains the scientific discipline established an excellent training for a future career in finance and business.
David is married, has two adult daughters, and enjoys cycling, walking and watching Bath Rugby whenever he can and when golf allows!

Dr Gwyer has over ten years working as a clinical psychologist in adult mental health settings. Prior to this Dr Gwyer was a lecturer in Counselling Psychology; Applied Cognitive Psychology; Personality & Individual Differences; Psychology, Crime & Law and Research Methods.
More recently, by combining elements of Clinical, Positive and Coaching psychology together he currently specialises is consultancy for individuals and organisations across the adult wellness and wellbeing spectrum.
As well as providing 1-2-1 sessions, he provides staff training and workshops in a range of areas to support individuals and teams meet and overcome the challenges associated with introducing change, establishing good practice, and managing service development so as they can flourish and thrive.

Andy attended 6 different schools – which included boarding at Smallwood Manor prep school (Staffordshire) and Bandon Grammar school (County Cork, Eire) – in England, Ireland, and finally Scotland, before going to sea at the age of 16 with Blue Star Port Lines Ltd as a navigating apprentice in 1970. He completed 3 circumnavigations before transferring into the deep-sea fishing industry based on the port of Hull. After 3 years fishing in the Arctic Andy returned to the merchant navy before joining the Royal Marines in 1976.
On completion of 6 month’s commando training in 98 Troop, in the spring of 1977, Andy served in 45 Commando Royal Marines as a marine. During this period he was deployed to the Arctic, Alps, Denmark and operational tours in Northern Ireland. In 1980 he was commissioned as a second lieutenant and underwent 1 year of officer training in YO May 80 batch. On completion of training he returned to 45 Commando Royal Marines and lead his troop in Northern Ireland, the Far East (Brunei) and the Falkland Islands Conflict.
Subsequently Andy was responsible for guarding Britain’s nuclear assets, training recruits, NCOS’s and Officers, and saw further operational deployments in command of Royal Marines in both 40 and 42 Commandos.
In 1996, having suffered a divorce and growing mental problems that were both inexplicable and frightening, Andy decided to take early retirement to try to overcome the massive limitations he was now suffering from. Andy did not consider reporting sick as having reached the rank of Major shame and guilt prevented him from doing so. The term PTSD was unheard of by him. He sought solitude at sea and with his second wife, Cheralie, they left Plymouth in August 1996 on an old classic ketch and sailed south.
After enduring 3 storms in two months they put into the Algarve to consider the next move and in 1997 entered the Mediterranean in search of somewhere to stop. In September they found Formetera, a sub-tropical island in the Western Mediterranean with safe and free anchorages, and began the process of trying to come to terms with the issues that were troubling Andy. They had no communications with the world until 2000, when their son Tom was born. Andy required this strict isolation in order to unravel his complex emotions and thoughts.
In 2008 Andy managed to find his first work since 1996 in the maritime security industry and this enabled him to buy his first laptop. It was then that he learned that he was suffering from PTSD.
In 2009 Andy and Cheralie sold the yacht and came ashore in Ibiza, where their son was now in school. They had lived aboard for 18 years.
In 2012 Andy was invited to lecture to his old unit, 45 Commando Royal Marines, on his war and its effects. He managed this with no emotional fall-out and declared that day, the 6th of September 2012, as the day his 30-year battle with PTSD was finished.
Since then Andy has devoted his life to helping veterans with PTSD and has mentored men and women from the USA, Canada, New Zealand and the UK. In June 2014 he incorporated The Mountain Way PTSD Community Interest Company (CIC) as the necessary business structure to conduct his charitable work.
Today Andy is supported by a dedicated team of volunteers, who seek to create a sound and ethical platform from which Andy can deliver his unique and successful programme, whose aim is to eradicate suicide amongst the UK veteran community suffering from PTSD. To date his programme has a 100% success rate.
Dom now enjoys an entrepreneurial and pluralist career – ranging from online start-ups, angel-investment and the provision of advisory/mentoring services (including NED support) to growing companies. Dom is also the author of five guides on the topic of entrepreneurship specifically targeted at current, and aspirant, business leaders of professional service businesses (www.dommoorhouse.com).
Previously, Dom founded Moorhouse, growing it from singleton start-up in 2004 to a c. £20m (valuation) business in 2008 when it was sold to BT as part of a deliberate build-to-sale, five-year strategy. Dom subsequently stayed on to lead the firm’s continued success – growing it to a c. £14m/annum revenue business at the time of handing over the MD reins in 2011. Moorhouse continues to thrive as one of the most respected business transformation companies in the UK, with c. 100 staff, serving multiple premier/global clients.
Dom is a former Royal Marines Officer (serving an 8-year commission). He has a first-class computing degree, an MBA and programme management accreditation (PMP, Prince2, MSP). He is a Chartered Director and a Fellow of both the Institute of Management Consultancy (CMC qualified) and the Association of Project Management (APM).
Outside of work, Dom shares the demands, with his wife Roz, of parenting three very active, growing children. With what little residual time there is remaining, Dom studies (currently a Philosophy Politics Economics degree with Open University) and mentors with the Prince’s Trust. He also tries desperately hard to hang onto a zest for an active, outdoor life (which has in the past included being a paragliding pilot, Zambezi white water raft guide, endurance canoeist, climber and expeditioner).
